Biography: Greg Smith

Drums, vocals

Greg was born into a musical family. His father played guitar and both grandfathers played music as well. He took to the drums at an early age, playing in stage bands and orchestras throughout school. Born and raised in San Francisco, he was exposed to a very eclectic range of musical styles, drawing on each one to develop his own.

He has played throughout the Bay Area, opening up for the Tubes, Roy Buchannan, The Chambers Brothers, and Elvin Bishop. More recently he has performed at Sacramento's Arco Area for the "Straight Up Summer Jam" series. With well over 30 years playing experience, he understands the critical importance of playing what's right for the song, always striving to please the listener with solid timekeeping and tasteful chops. He is currently playing in the Sacramento area with "Sleeper" and "Bone Jelli".
