Vocals

Darlene "Kitten" Taylor was born to a musically gifted family so having a variety of instruments and vocal practices around the house was just normal to her. Kitten was raised singing and performing with her siblings from the age of 4. There were solos, duets and lots of trios that were entertaining young and old in Grand Junction Colorado where she grew up.

Creating harmonies and background singing as well as solo's is very natural to her as a result. Having won a town wide talent contest at the tender age of 8 launched her interest in a musical career.

Kitten's voice style is a combination of a soul, R&B, Blues and a hint of classical. She likes to sing the ballads, but loves to do the hard core Blues and R&B. "Kitten" sang in a band called the Velvet Underground , has participated in many choirs and has been singing for weddings for many years.

Kitten is an integral part of the unique Bone Jelli sound. Kitten would like to go on record saying that she feels privileged to work with the most talented and creative musicians in the area . Being the only female member in an 11 piece band has been an honor for her as she is working with ultimate professionals and gentlemen. They all have contributed to making it comfortable, fun, and exciting. It is an extremely gratifying musical journey.
